Is it safe?

Heck No!
Neither is living. You will die no matter what you do or how carefull you live, no garanties. At the best you'll die doing what you love.

Philosophy aside - it is still much safer than crossing a street or driving a car. With proper instructions and use of common sense you have a good chance to die a natural death. Hopefully not on our boat!

Can the boat flip over?

No, not normally.

The weather would have to be very extreme.

There is a very small chance to experience that in Banderas Bay and what nutcase would want to go out in a weather like that?

How long does our trip go?

That's your choice. You book the time. To get to a destination under sail depends on the winds and the question is: Do you want to enjoy sailing or get to a destination.
After all; you've already arrived. Would it not be wiser to ask "What we're gonna do?" We could run under engine and the noise to get to a destination but then you would miss the pleasure of sailing, using the wind, the tranquility it permeates.

Are there toilets on board?

Yes, we have to heads (Marine-Toilets) with shower on board.

Please ask for assistance for the use of them. We are happy to demonstrate. (Now don't get the wrong idea) We also have a bucket but it is not often requested.

Do you have cooking facilities and a fridge?

Are you kidding? This is an ocean going vessel and sometimes for weeks without land in sight. We have a BBQ and a two burner stove with oven in case you want to use the galley. We have a fridge and a cooler to keep perishables and drinks cold.

Is safety equipment on board?

Yes! Common sense is the most important. And there are 14 lifejackets and if you can't swim, we recommend you stay on board. All U.S.and Canadian Coast Guard recommanded safety equipment and more is aboard!

Can I get seasick?

You may. There are several methods to overcome it and you may prefer pills like "Dramomine", "Scopamine" or natural methods like a "seaband" and an old remedy is keeping busy and looking at the horizon, take the helm don't read or look down. Avoid heavy, greasy foods and drink Ginger Ale, Canada Dry or ginger tea. By our observation out of ten every sixth person will "feed fish" so try to be the fifth or seventh.

Is there a chance to make telephone or radio calls from the boat?

Yes, we have a cellular and VHF Radio for ship to shore communication aboard. For a charge you may use the cellular if it is necesary. But did you not want to leave it all behind on your holidays...?

What if we decide to cut short or extend the trip?

That's possible, but sorry, we can not refund any money since the trip is been booked for that time. In case of an extension on your request, we charge for each additional hour US$ 90.- as long as there is no conflicting booking for that time.

What other activities are offered?

Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Whale watching, Long distance travels, Vacations aboard, Beach activities and trolling for fish and we could train you how to dodge pushy street hustlers.
